The Lofoten Islands fishermen's is centrally located and sunny to in the port right next to Svolvær town centre with a short distance to the fishing spots on the sea, the beach, the mountains and the famous Svolværgeita.
The Lofoten Islands fishermen's has a total of 18 units, where it can stay from 2 to 4 people per unit. It's added up to cooking facilities on all the units, the rooms have a kitchenette and the fisherman's Suites well appointed fullskalas-kitchen. The facility has a maximum capacity of 50 people.
History
Outside the accommodations is one of the oldest sea houses in Svolvær. The pier which formerly stood at Svinøya right next to "the stock exchange Eatery" was built in 1828. In 1937, it was dismantled, moved to the Marine pollen and set up again in 1938, where it still stands today. After the move of the pier, it has been used for the fish receiving, warehouse and shacks for fishermen and storage of fishing gear.
